3D street art

  • Joe began painting ‘3D Street Art’ with co-founder Max Lowry and today is one of the world’s leading 3D street artists, having been commissioned by brands, venues, city centres and events to create 3D street artworks the world over.

  • 3D Street Art - also known as ‘anamorphic art’ or ‘pavement art’ - can either be painted on a removable canvas for one-off events and launches; or can be painted directly onto a surface for more permanent art installations, such as architectural buildings and city centres. The paintings work equally inside buildings or outside on the streets, as well as in unusual locations.

  • Joe always designs the artworks to be interactive, saying his ‘3D Street Art’ paintings only become complete, when someone stands on them and become 'part of the artwork' - to then be captured by a photograph or video and shared.

  •   3D Joe and Max were amongst a handful of innovators chosen to represent British creativity at the World Expo in Shanghai in 2010.
